On the other hand, the graduates from Academy of Fine Arts of the Central University of the United States of America have learned and interpreted the traditional culture of Chinese clothing through different perspectives such as fabric pformation, design techniques and traditional techniques, trying to explore the possibilities of various designs, and seeking the organic integration of traditional culture and fashion culture.

The graduation design series draws inspiration from the ancient Chinese culture.

  

 

"Shang color" reminiscent of traditional culture

Minzu University of China Academy of Fine Arts graduation work conference was held in May 19th 751D PARK central hall.

The theme of this graduation work is "Shang color", which implies the innovative embodiment of Chinese traditional culture in contemporary fashion design.

The graduates appreciate and interpret through different perspectives such as fabric pformation, design techniques and traditional techniques.

The traditional culture tries and explores the possibilities of various designs to seek the organic combination of traditional culture and fashion culture.

"Shang color" design from

clothing

The students from the Department of fashion design were completed half a year ago.

The works are inspired by traditional Chinese cultural elements, and clothing is used as a carrier to demonstrate the connotation of Chinese traditional culture.

"Shang" Tong "Shang" has the meaning of "ancient, far away", and "Shang" is noble and fashionable.

"Shang color" is a reminiscence of Chinese traditional culture and an interpretation of the color of the heart.

Minzu University of China Academy of Fine Arts graduation design series draws inspiration from ancient Chinese culture.

The works are made up of national arts and crafts such as printing, dyeing, plush, quilting, braid embroidery and folds. In these fine works, there are thick woollen fabrics and light and elegant gauze fabrics. They have plain cotton and linen fabrics and noble silk.

It reflects the designers' grasp of different materials.

The use of national elements is a major design highlight. Some design works start with technology, such as the Bai tie dyeing process as design elements, and some designs with the combination of the Miao's geometric patterns and braid embroidery, or in a humorous manner, apply the inspiration from the national culture to the design.

Chinese traditional culture has a long history. Chinese clothing, as a part of Chinese culture, should also reflect the thick side of culture.

Today's clothing art is more reflected in the cultural and artistic characteristics of all countries, so how to integrate Chinese culture into thousands of years better?
